2016 Aisin Holiday Lunch

On Friday, December 9th, Aisin members attended a holiday lunch jointly organized by ATC-A and AWA at a nearby venue. The annual holiday lunch is a great opportunity for members to spend time with each other and enjoy the holiday spirit. Company lunch is a great activity for mingling and relaxing before the holidays, as we reflect on another wonderful and profitable year in the automobile industry.

Traditionally Aisin has had a professional speaker or entertainer during the lunch, however this year the focus was giving back to the community. Aisin partnered with the Plymouth Salvation Army to build 20 bikes and handcraft 100 blankets to be provided to those that were in need. Competition became fierce during the bike build as there was a prize for the team that completed their bike first.
After the plates were cleared, there was a humorous “Ugly Sweater Contest” for people who wished to show off their intentionally ugly sweaters; the audience participated by indicating their approval for the various contestants. The sweaters were a sight to see! As the lunch was winding down, the presidents of ATC-A and AWA handed out Service Award for those employees celebrating 5, 10, 15 years or more of service at Aisin.
The festivities wrapped out with our raffle drawing for prizes donated by our executive team and from the company. A good time was had by all!
