On April 9-10th weekend, Aisin (ATCA and AWA) Lemons team participated in 24 Hours of Lemons race at Pittsburgh International Race Complex in Wampum, PA. The weekend endurance race was total of 15 hours which require teamwork to prepare the race car to be ready for long hours of race, pit in/out safely and efficiently, good strategy call between pit and drivers and car maintenance before and after the sessions. The team battled sleet, hail and snow all weekend. Unfortunately, wet track conditions on Sunday led to contact with a barrier wall. There were no injuries, but the car was unable to return to the race. At the end, the team was able to finish 77th place out of 110 cars. The team also donated $300 to LeMons of Love, which is a cancer benefit foundation.
We are looking forward to a safe and successful race at Gingermann Raceway on October 8-9th, 2022!
